Gs500E

I use to see a few EX500's and such used as starter bike for track days and I was wandering if a GS500E 97 or 98 would be along the same lines. I see a lot if 500R's and ex but dont remember seeing much of the suzu 500. Is there a reason for this. I can pick one up from a family member up north cheap but dont if it not like the EX for some reason.

The GS500E is a good bike as well. Just need to firuge out which one will be suit your needs & desires.

Good starter bike. I am not worried about power but as I have learn with any motorsport its not about which is more power but cost level to mantain. Does one have a suspension handling advantage?
