Dude, that's cool. Lucky - bet it is fun to blast down that. Being a runway, I would imagine it is pretty well taken care of too, huh?

Damn, I'm so jealous. I used to work at a little air strip and I had access to a runway too, but I never took my bike out to play on it...

its well taken care of, but theres a dip at the end. So either avoid it or fly. The only bad thing is I cant take off without getting noticed-its so open the exhaust travels.

Also, for anyone with an Sv, svrider.com people have done quite a bit of research and found that they are off anywhere from 8-13%.

FYI, going to a 120/70 front juuuust about makes it accurate.

I assume 10% on my bike, it seems to match cars around here. Almost everyone drives 10mph over.

There is a gate-but its open most of the time. Took my boss' Lexus to 120 today wooot!

Is that just on their bikes? I've also heard similar (3%) for the cars, but I've had the GPS in both my M3 and my 328is and both have been spot on up to their respective limiters. Both had roughly stock diameter tires on too.

I've found the speedo on my 7 to be far more accurate than bikes that have the speedo ran off the tranny. Once I get my fuel pump issue fixed, I'll try to get out and see what kind of error I've got at higher speeds.
