I'm rolling south-bound in my cage on Embarcadero in San Francisco this afternoon. Had just picked up my new (Forcefield) back-protector @ Johnson Leathers... So I'm doing about, oh, I don't know 40mph give or take - when I spy one of our own, an FZ6 w. stock pipes and FAZR6's FE kit. :fiddy comin' up on the left. The actual purpose of the post...

I'm sorry you all. I seemed to leave out the part about the FZ6 rolling up to a local restaurant near the baseball park. As the FZ6 stops, down the stairs walks a young lady who had exited the bar with a big smile. Was she checkin' out the bike? the rider? Probably the latter. In Italy it is all about the 'Bella Figura' or making a good first impression. There weren't many pedestrians around, the sun was out, so the whole thing framed up like a commercial or something. All they'd have to do is replay that quick series of events and then throw in some quip about motor oil or after-shave, and people would run out to buy... Well, that's all there was to the story. Sorry it wasn't more exciting. Shouldn't have used that title, I guess.

Edit: The reason I posted was that the rider had to be one of us, because of the F/E Kit, so I was just curious who it was and wanted to get a shout out. Bad choice of Post title. (can I catch a break here?..). Thinking it through, I also realize that the rider may wish to keep his identity & whereabouts on that day under the radar. Maybe the hottie coming out to greet wasn't his old lady... For this reason, even if I had taken a photo of the scene, I wouldn't post it here. Depite not being a 'R' model - The FZ6 looks pretty sweet. I think I'll keep 'er for a while.
