I like the watsen design flush mounts, but I've been holding off on them until they decide to do something about the running lights not working.
I was looking for a windshield in a manual at my local dealer and I saw the proton flushmounts. I searched for them online and found them here Proton flushmount.
While searching for the Protons I also stumbled accross these Flush-line flushmounts.

I would like to know if anyone has the Proton or Flush-line flushmounts. It seems that they both have the option for LEDs and also work as running lights. The proton also has different blinking options.
I probably would go with the Flush-line because the proton has a built-in flash regulator and my LEDs blink fast so they might blink at a different rate. The Flush-line's also have different color lens options.

They don't have them specifically for the FZ6, but the ones that fit the 05 R6 should also fit the FZ6 shouldn't they? I think the 05 FZ6, R6 and R1 front blinkers are the same aren't they? That was the case for the watsen design blinkers.

Thoose flushline ones look identical to my mototeck ones. http://www.mototeck.com/index_en.html

Which you can get in either 2 wire 1 function or 3 2 function styles. I personally only ordered the 2 wire style and then tied them into my relay setup to make my POD lights blink so that they are blinking togethor instead of opposite of each other. The 3 wire would work as a direct replacement for the OEM ones with no modifications. I love the way they look and stick out just enough to be seen from every direction.

Interesting if this is true. Are these the same?

Not to change the subject. But, Im changing the subject ;) On the topic of inspections do cycles get inspected? I looked at the tag that came with my plates and it just looks like a registration tag. I bought the bike new from the dealer so if it required an inspection sticker they should have taken care of it. Just like when you buy a car. Sorry for the noob question.

Oh, and to try and stay on topic. I really want flush mounts. The flushlines look pretty good. I like the Watsons but the flushlines dont have the problem of wiring them for running lights. I like that quite a bit.

I am sure it depends on the State, but yes in Texas they do get inspected. I don't display my inspection sticker... it is in my wallet if need be.

I too bought my bike and received no inspection sticker with it as well. It took 2 years before I even realized we needed them to be inspected in TX. Just figured since they did not give me one, we didn't. However, we do.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will find a place in town my next day off that will inspect it. Btw, it might sound silly, but I will be glad to pay the next registration tax on the bike. That way I can change the license plate holder that has the dealer's name plastered all over it and holds the tag as well. I dont want to risk peeling off the sticker and tearing it untill the renewel is up.

They are the same. Mototeck is just the name of the site. Flushline is still the manufacturer.
I think I will probably get the flushlines with the smoke colored lens.
Both the flushline and the proton flushmounts are less expensive then the watsen design. I just thought I would mention that because someone was saying they're pricey. You also keep the running lights which is what I really like.
