Please disregard. I found the problem.

]I was adding an additionalbreaklight piece to my bike. I was using a multimeter to find the breaklight's hot wire. While doing so I heard a fuse pop and found a blown fuse. I also discovered that my multimeter had a short in it. I have replaced the fuse but my headlight is out. The taillight is lite. The bike has 2 headlights. Is there anyway that I blew both headlights or is there something else in the electronics that could be bad? Is there anything else I can do?

Thank you
Jim

Did you check the headlight fuse? Do the high beams work? Usually there's one fuse for low beams and one for high beams not a fuse for each headlight.

And welcome to SBN!!

Start the bike and then check the headlights. Alot of the newer headlights on the Yamaha's don't come on until the bike is running, and the ECM is recieving a signal from the crank sensor.
