Ever since I found out the tach could switch to KM/h exclusively I've been speeding less. Yeah, I do know the conversions, but in a bike going 100KM/h feels about the same as going 100Mi/h in a car. Especially so when you glance down and see triple digits!
Of course, it's still good to know that 40KM/h ~ 25Mi/h for your neighbourhoods. Better yet, go at 25KM/h if you're not blocking traffic. Doesn't freak out the parents as much.
Still having fun and speeding less! Isn't that something?
For those that want to try:
KMH to MPH. Take KMH and subtract 40% of KMH to get MPH.
MPH to KMH. Take MPH and add 60% of MPH to get KMH.
Much easier than doing the 1.6X = KM/h arithmetic in your head (Even though it's the same thing. Most try to multiply 16, then carry the decimal. Doesn't work so well.)
