We had a good friend of ours involved in a severe motorcycle accident this past Sunday. He fought for his life, now hes fighting to be able to save use of his arm and leg due to blunt trauma of hitting a tree at high speed. His name is Rick Corrigan from Syracuse NY area, if anybody could just say a quick prayer for him, we would highly appreciate it. Here is the thread with all his updates on his condition. He is doing a little better, but still in rough shape, and it will take a long time, and alot of therapy before any type of normal life returns to him. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

No stuntin

We do host a stunt related website, as alot of our members like to do that, including myself. But there are tons of riders on there who do track days, like the twisties and just like to cruise. Rick wasn't doing anything too reckless, maybe going a bit to fast under the wrong conditions, who here hasn't done that? Anyways, he went too hot into a corner, couldn't make the turn, or hit gravel, went wide and hit a guardrail. He then got ejected into a tree, his whole right side took the impact of the trauma, and thats why his arm and leg are in really bad shape. This could happen to any of us, stunting or no stunting, speeding or no speeding, its a shame no matter how it happens. Thanks guys!

I don't want to start a flamewar on this, but I'm sure the first thing the guy will say after he recovers is "ride safely and within your limits".

These bikes are insanely powerful and it only takes a moment of temptation to push things into deadly territory. It is a shame, but it sounds like it was a preventable shame. For his and his family's sake, I hope he fully recovers.

Praying for him, his injuries sounds familiar but my buddies that have been jacked up was from Iraq. Good luck and God Bless, you guys are doing a great thing for him by helping out with the donations. I'm not rolling in the dough but a sent you a little. We should all be so lucky to have a great group of friends like you guys.
