I helped a friend move a few things around in his garage in preparation for the coming winter and received this for my efforts!

It's a semi-original 84 Ascot VT500-the 1980s SV650. It tips the scales right at 400lbs wet and supposedly has about 50hp. It's been sitting for quite some time, but it has 8500 original miles and the OE tires (although bald) still on it. It's going to be my commuter next summer. Now I just need to find a way to store it.....I have too many bikes.

55-63 mpg on my 86 vt500c I have highway pegs, nice little cruiser low maintenance, and the front end will lift to about ten oclock without alot of practice.

basejumping is awesome, but i would use a cheap walmart or gargae sale bicycle over a motorcycle even if it is old and beat.
