are you going for looks or a real adjustment....
the fz1 preload caps i believe fit..there 43mm forks like ours
but if you want the adjustment ...it cant be done easy
theres a bar that runs down to the bottem
pull up a microphiche for a fz1 folk and a fz6 fork...you'll see the differents

I'll bet Sharkbait can machine that fork cap for you. You'll have to have longer springs to take advantage of that feature without limiting travel.
