This questions is for those who have their motorcycle insurance, in florida, through state farm.

Have you seen you rates go over the last couple of years? I've had no accidents, no tickets, nothing over the last 5 years. But my motorcycle insurance has gone up by ~25% every year for the past 3 years. I'm just tyring to figure why that is and if I am the only person this is happening to.

I don't know about 25% but yes, there has been increases. That's just the way of the world I guess. Then again, what's your age and marital status and stuff like that?

Mine has gone up slightly. I read a newspaper article about it about 6 months ago. Ask your agent also, they will give you the scoop.

I've had my car and bike with State Farm for almost 2.5 years now and my rates have not gone up a $0.01. They actually went down when I turned 25 (which I then added better coverage and $150k life insurance to bring it back up to what it was previous).

Alot of that normally goes to location. There are alot of bike thefts in this area thus making the rates go up higher than other places. AllState did me the same way. So I went to Nationwide.

I'm single and 24. My rates started out at 42/month but after 3 years, they are now 69/month (as of my new statement lastweek). Not too bad, but I felt like I'm being taken advantage of even though I haven't done anything wrong (no tickets, no accidents).

Hell, I am 40 no tickets or accidents and I am paying 79 a month...they can't tell me why...

Need to go back to Indiana and reregister my stuff up there and only pay $350 a yr.
