So, we do the title transfer and everything, and it's a miserable night out, raining, kinda cold, etc. The guy tells me that his buddy with the truck couldn't get up here yesterday, so he wanted me to ride the bike over to the parking garage. Get halfway there, I'm being super careful since it's raining and no longer my bike, and guess what happens?

Traffic stops abruptly while I'm going down a slick hill. Try to stop, but the rear end lifts up and fishtails, and I go down. I had the bike for a while and never went down on it, and I go down immediately after I sell it. Shit. Bent the handlebar, and put a small dent in the exhaust (can't really even tell). So luckily the guy was cool enough and acknowledged that it was his fault for having me ride it in the rain, and I just have to buy him a new handlebar. Damn 250. I bet the bike was pissed at me for selling it so it wanted to screw me over one last time.

Dude that sucks.

Glad he was cool about it. There is a silver lining.

sounds like you arent ready for that 675

just kidding
Nah, the tire was fairly squared off and tread was low. I really shouldn't have ridden it in the rain, but I figured he already signed the title so what the hell. I'm really just glad the bike is gone and I'm not gonna have to deal with the guy again after I get the handlebar. That guy was a PITA to deal with.
