anyone else feel funny / wierd leaning on the tank on the FZ6? I've never really leaned on the bike while riding until last week...and it felt a bit odd, because the pegs aren't up and back. I felt like a poser :rolleyes

I did have a porshe try to race me on the highway though...no I didn't :squid out

I lean on the tank and rest my boots onto the passenger pegs.

I tried it some this past weekend on a 600 mile round trip. I used a friends tank bag to lay against which worked pretty good. After gettin back I ordered the yamaha taller windshield so I hopefully won't have to lean down as far.

It felt different at first, but the more you do it, the better it feels. Now it feels "right" when I'm hugging the tank and squeezing with my knees and feet and on the balls of my feet on the pegs, slid all the way to the back of the seat. I feel much more in control, like the bike is part of me. And now of course sitting bolt upright at the front of the seat feels weird, hah.
