I just found a 2003 Honda CBR 600RR for $3,400. The thing is, it has like 56,000 miles on it. I don't really know how mileage works with bikes. What do you guys think about it?

the miles seems kinda high, but I've seen quite a few bikes w/more miles that run fine. It really depends on how the bike was treated and serviced.

You hardly ever see bikes with mileage that high, simply because they're crashed, replaced, stolen or aren't maintained enough to get to that point. If the owner rode that much, chances are he maintained it. It could be in great shape. Then again, if it didn't have the required maintenance done and was run hard, it probably isn't.
I wouldn't decide for or against a bike merely based on a few numbers on the dash, myself.

My Sprint had 21,000 miles on it when I traded it in. It was running better than when it was new. I agree with Juniper. That bike has probably been maintained well if the guy rode that much.
