So I have this 00 750 I have been prepping for the track...
I have yet to ride it since I bought it in the dead of winter.
I noticed there is a fast idle lever, and on the clutch side, and there is another knob for adjustment of some sort on the clutch side under the tank.

A buddy last night noticed the fast idle lever which reminded me that I wanted to get some clrification.

I do not have an owners manual, and the service manual does not say anything about operation; as far as I can find anway.

What do these things do? I assume the fast idle essentiallly works like a choke to speed up the heating process or something?

It starts up and runs just fine btw, but I want to know if I should be fiddling with these things.

I'll try to remember to get some pics up when I am done with it, but it will not be anything real flashy or exciting.

Anyways, thanks if anyone has a repsonse to the questions.

I believe the idle adjuster is under the tank - the choke is simply that (im guessing the 00 model was prior to fuel injection)
