Hi,

I have alrealdy ordered a Leovince SBK Alloy for my FZ6-04. This slip-on systems includes a cat suppresor. I've been reading a lot of threads about this topic and I don't understand an issue.

Can I install these exhausts (and the cat suppresor) by my own? Do I have to modify the injection parameters? Therefore, Have I to carry my Fz6 to my dealer? Is it necessary a Power Commader? I wouldn't like to spend more money but also I want a great noise without petards.

Somebody with these exhausts?

Thanks in advance....

Hi,
if I understand you correctly your new exhaust is replacing the cat and the
muffler!?

If so,
Yes, you can fit the Leo vince by your own as long as you don't have two left
hands filled with thumbs.
You do not necessary need a new setup for ignition and injection, but if you
want the benefit in power and torque you should get a new mapping on
the bike.
Power Ccommander would help but you have to get your PC to the bike and
play a lot to find the correct parameters.
A dealer should have the know-how to do it, or to play a new mapping on the
"black box".
By the way, you may have difficulties with the "Racing Control" (GC) if you
try to run a exhaust system on the road which is only allowed on the racing track.
