I think the idea is to get a 450 Singles class going for a relatively inexpensive platform to start with. 450's make decent power, are pretty reliable, there are a ton of them out there. And they are light. I think it will take off.

Has anyone seen this? This company makes kits to convert MX bikes to road bikes - keeps the engine, frame and major components. They make kits for all the major manufacturers:
