whats it like being in the military?
You should look at going in. It was the best thing I could have done coming out of high school. I have seen the world, and it didn't cost me a dime, just 5 years of service. Not saying it is for everyone and at times I hated it, but looking back I probably would be in the same place as all friends are today. Working dead end jobs, and not really going anywhere with their life.

Yeah, what he said. It's alright sometimes, and I have been all over the place.

I live right near a pretty big army base, and most of the guys that get out end up working "dead end jobs". I'm not anti-military, but don't let the commercials let you believe it will vault you to new career heighths because of your time in the service.

It depends what kind of career you're interested in. If you are looking to get a Civil Service job then you get full preference for veteran status on the tests, at least in MA... I'm not sure how it works every where else.

But back on track, what's the deal with 2 headlights? Great bike by the way.

depends on your MOS. With my MOS I will diffently be working with NSA after I get out if I wanted to.

Of course if your say infantry, that's kinda hard to apply to the civilian world.

I'd bet most of those guys working the dead end jobs where shitbags when they where in anyways. So it doesn't matter, everything is what you make of it. I love the marine corps, it's one of the best choices I've made in my life.
