I completed the 4,000 mile service Saturday. Not much was needed. Added a little coolant, changed oil and filter.
Hats off to all who pull the plugs by the book. I finally just removed the battery and air box. It's easy that way. The plugs looked good. Four was a little dark. Maybe a little rich. And, four was a little off when I synchronized the throttle bodies.
Of course, I had to take a ride Sunday. The bike ran great. Dependability is just so comfortable.
The destination: the FZ6 seat.
Didn't matter where I went. It was the first gorgeous day - first really good day - to ride since fall.
So I routed a trip to Lake Guntersville, Alabama and had a picnic lunch at the state park. (Sorry, no pics.)
The round trip was 379 miles.
A good day in the seat! :fiddy

Thanks for the tip on removing the Air Box, I'll have to try that next time. A little more extra to remove, but sounds like it would be quicker than struggling with a couple of those plugs.

...and I'm sure you ment sync'd the jets.
