I have 50 miles on her so far, its really hard to articulate what IT is......Its actually very tame on the street, but one crack of the wrist....

Its like you enter HYPERSPACE.:bowdown

I debated for 2 years, I sat and sat and scored it at an unbelieveable price.

I'm glad I waited.:boink

205 HP, 183 at the rear wheel, albeit I did negotiate having it mapped with a power commander and LOJACK(lol). That might put it up around 190, if I had to guess. I also said I wanted to be there when they mapped it, I will post that video, it should be chilling.:banana

The front end is a GAS CHARGED limited production Ohlins, the incomprehensible amount of speed needed to properly load this bad boy is.......well imcomprehensible......I'm sure I will get some idea on the next track day.

The amount of adrenaline(the good stuff) this thing produces is simliar to that of my plane crash incident I think, its almost like an out of body experience.

The bike is very docile and just roars to life as it kind SPOOLS up, it delivers power all the way through, I have not hit a redline yet, I dont know where that will happen but for sure I will wait until about 600 miles.

I stuck in my favorite double right hander decreasing radius corner without any suspension adjustments and it gobbled it up and laughed at my meaningless lean angle and or G's.
She runs hot and prefers to run that way in fact anything under say 200 deg she will struggle with the idle etc.

Oh and to the last poster, I got it for $ 59,000 out the door about $ 66,000

The growl at 4-6rpms is just unreal, its so raspy, it is just snarling and wants to be and launched hard.

This was about a 2 year decision, and to aforementioned poster, I didnt pay with 100s but I did pay with a cashiers check, so that felt good, hand me that title. Look everyone has different reasons for why they do what they do. I am turning 44 in about a week, lost a brother this year and said to myself, what the hell.......

I do all the planned saving 401ks, etc. I mean its not really something that will lose much in value, and whatever that is I will get a ton of fun out of it, more than that amount is...

The was an opportunity to own a GP bike this is the EXACT Bike(excluding slicks and carbon fiber discs) of the 2005 marlboro ducati team.

I really dont think any manufacturer will make anything like this in production again, not in my lifetime. So I just had to do it. And to the other poster, who hates rich people, listen RICH is relative word, I watched a guy pull up today to a Ducati dealer that I hang at and order the very last DESMO in the system and the dude is loaded, commercial realestate I gather. I could afford to do it, after I saved up for 2 years.

Your the same motherfucker with that white 848 arent you... rich ass :twofinger
Actually I gave that to my son, it was a surprise.....He started doing track days on his GSXR and I just knew he would be a lot faster on a bike that had everything it needed. Alll he has to do now is just concentrate on the corners. he is a kid that gives constantly to the family never asks for anything, plays with his borthers and is just an incredible person, incredible character(my step son actually). He deserved it he has worked hard and had a tough life, dad that left him at an early age etc. I have to say that was almost better(giving him the bike) than the first time I rode off on the DESMO>

That was a great price you got it for, went to a local dealer to check one out (not really local, had to drive 8 hours to get to the next ducati dealer) they were asking much more. Congrats on the bike, sounds like you deserve it. Could we geta fly-by vid? :p

Soon, this months track rider I am taking my Hyper-retard. My Scotts dampner froze on me ( I cant adjust it?)but I am going to take it anyway. Next month or November I will be taking the DESMO out, FONTANA or Willow, for sure Big Willow would be down right scary on that bike, the entrance to 8 on this beast, I cant even imagine.
