good bike

this would be later, if money isnt as much of an issue, but the 400cc CBRs that were made in the mid 90s are awesome for shorter riders. most of them or all of them are imported from other countries, but the thing about them is that they are already low to the ground, so you dont have to lower them. lowering them often messes with handling and crap since the suspension is compressed, and the natural geometry of the bike (ie - swing arm) is all different.

they are a bit pricey since they are rare, but they look good, and are great to ride. pretty quick too

that bandit looks decent too. the fuel leak thing most likely isnt even a big deal. ive got a buddy with an old suzuki with the same sort of fuel leak, and he's put 4,000 miles on the bike with no problem.

my 2 cents

That's a great bike, but it is not in the type of shape that would make me consider it seriously. You want to ride it, not fix it.

like 72beetle mentioned the cbr400 and there were a couple for sale in the Austin area a little while back but you might also want to look at fzr400's there are quite a few around the Austin area.
