On December 1st the Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of the Christian Sport Bike Association will have our monthly ride. We will meet at the Starlite Diner in Fogelsville on Rt. 100 just south of I-78. We will eat breakfast at 8AM and ride around 9:15 AM. We'll be doing the Berks County Blitz this month, so don't miss it. This will be our last big ride for the year.

January, February, and March we meet for lunch at varied locations and maybe have a short ride following. I hope to see you all there. Please post up if you are coming. Thanks.

Hello all,

I'm sorry this post is late, my son's birthday was last week and we had three parties for him. Now that it's over, let's get back to business. This last ride of the season had a light turnout due to cold and tight schedules plus rain the day before. Three of us came to breakfast and three showed up to ride. So, six came out all together and I would show you some pictures but I forgot my camera at home. :( Of the three that came to ride, one decided not to ride due to the clouds and his heart wasn't in it. So another rider and myself headed out on the ride. We got about an hour into the ride when we came across a bridge that was out. I hadn't reconned the ride and assumed someone else did, silly me. :turbo We turned left and came upon another bridge out. After this the rider I was with had some mechanical problems with his bike, but a push and a kick start and we were back on our way. We rode for only about an hour and a half since the other rider needed to be somewhere. I rode more of the route solo and then headed home, arriving before noon. Our next event will be a lunch on January the 5th, 2013. I'll post up more before the New Year. I hope you and your family have a nice holiday.

There were some scriptures that have been buzzing around my head recently, so I figured I would share them with you. The first is from Isaiah 43:25-“I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more."

The cool thing about this verse is that God blots out our transgressions against Him for His own sake. That's pretty cool that God would make the way for us to come to Him because He wants to have relationship with us. It just shows how much He loves us. In Psalm 103:11-12 it says:
"11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
The "east from the west" quote is not like a globe, but instead is a straight line; that's how far He has removed our transgressions against Him away from us. THAT is how great His love is for us. I wanted to let all you fine folk know, now that we are in the Advent season. As the old carol goes, "let every heart prepare Him room"; so I pray you all make room for more of the Lord in your life this coming New Year. Merry Christmas my friends, I will see you next year.
