no damage to frame. only had a few scrapes on both ankles and alot of nasty bruises. Until the insurance adjuster comes to inspect it, I might have parts available for sale.

i was on a four lane divided highway ( 2 in one direction two in the other). I was in the left lane. There was also a left turn lane to my left. which was occupied by a full size pickup. The car was in the median waiting to cross the two lanes of traffic. As I got to the rear bumper of the truck the car appeared in my lane. I applied both brakes, slide and hit the car. I guess i flew over the car, dont remember. All I recall is standing up trying to get out of the way of other traffic. The truck was blocking the view of the car. Instead of the car peaking out he just went.

The same exact thing happened to me last summer only I was lucky enough to avoid it (narrowly). I remember just staring at the rear quarter panel of the car and was quite shocked I didn't hit it. Makes you livid how most drivers have their head firmly inserted in their rectums. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt.

A lesson to take from this (which is from the MSF as well):

Large vehicles blocking sight lines do so for both drivers. Position yourself so as to better see around it. In this case, that means slowing down and being in the right lane.

Good to hear you're relatively okay. You must have scrubbed some serious speed before impact, that damage looks more like a 15-20 MPH strike.

my whole groin area was bruised. the boys were hurtin for quite awhile. Everytime I see the tank it just makes me sick all over again. Appreciate the concerns for my well being. His insurance company cut me a check to fix it.
