So on the ride through Utah and the snow and all, these gloves maintained the water resist throughout, but got really cold in the fingertips when we hit the snow. So if you don't get into that cold of weather, maybe mid 40's, they work great.

Don't know what else you were wearing but if the rest of your bod starts to get cold the blood flow to the extremities will be reduced. Warmer torso protection or heated vest/liner?

Full insulated coretech flex with insulation, with thermals and a motorrad full suit. Everything else was warm even my palms.

You mean the Cortech Scarab WINTER. I've been wearing mine for the last few weeks. Only thing I'd exchange them for is a pair of A* Vega Drystar or Storm Rider. Once you get down to about 20F, they only last a few miles before the wind and cold leak through.
