in June '08, I bought a black Corbin Gunfighter & Lady seat ($369) and a Corbin Ovalbac passenger backrest ($229) for my '05. See http://www.corbin.com/yamaha/fz6.shtm :boink I thought my b/h would like to come along for rides.

Good luck with that! Even with $45 lowered pass pegs, the complaining starts in ~10 minutes. She complains that the FZ6 is nowhere as comfortable as the Goldwing she sat on. :bitchslap Guess I'll have to get her a Goldwing if I want to take her for a ride (or leave her home).:lao

In any case, the Corbin seat has been on the bike for a total of ~45 minutes and is like brand new. Still have the box and paperwork.

Make me an offer...

I had the same problem but got rid of the girl and kept the b/h (the seat). Good luck bro. Post up a pic of the seat.

I should do some research. Damn, I don't need it right this second, as she's about to hibernate until March or so, but I have needed to fix that seat since I bought her in 07.
