I prepared a series of presentations for my younger cousins about going to college.

It is mostly based on my time in college, and what i did and saw there.

This places a strong bias on the work, i neither claim objectivity nore should you assume any claim.

I am not a great student, nor am i a great thinker. I have however studied under numerious univercity systems, and gotten degrees from several.

(currently i have earned college credit from: Central Washington Univercity, Montana State Univercity, Univercity of Montana, Fort Lewis College, and Flathead Valley Community College. I have also attended classes of some variety or another at several other places, however most of these exsperiances were some form of professional course and not courses for college credit)

While several other people helped me build this; mostly my elder sister, little brother, friend Cris and professor Sean, any typo's mistakes or error's are mine and mine alone.

Are your little cousins retarded? Just asking because I may actually be offended if someone sent those to me. I mean, the PowerPoint on sex? Really?

If I were you, I'd scrap the weird PowerPoints and pick up a phone.

I really think part of a university experience is figuring out things for yourself. Some will do it better, some worse and that's all part of it. One should let one's relatives experience it on their own terms, and not pollute it with one's own. They're different people and will get something different out of it.

To be honest, I started rolling my eyes after the first few slides. I'm not sure about your cousins, but if they're the typical 18 year olds, they might find this pretty insulting... just my $.02

I really hope this was a joke but that was an awful lot of effort typing all that really strange info in all those extremely primitive "presentations". They look like something an 8 year old slopped together at the last minute to keep from getting in trouble for not turning in homework in a class he is failing.

I think teacher score is more important than getting classes close together, and also class time slot is even more important than that if you want to work while in college.

Textbooks- these aren't really that important.
I didnt have that experience. I had teachers that would test you 70% on the reading and 30% on the study guide/Lecture.

I also think its a good idea to never have two classes with a Lab in the same semester (if you can help it)

Dont take Chem and Bio the same semester take one in spring and one in fall, also always try to have 1 "free a" class to balance it out, something super easy.

and the biggest most important thing in college. DONT TAKE CLASSES THAT WONT COUNT TOWARDS ANYTHING. My BS program had some electives and most stuff went in there but I still ended up taking an American History II class that counted for literally nothing and also a Macro Economics class that was for nothing.

also recommend picking a major early on so you dont jack that up.
