I want to start doing the maintenance on my bike now that the warranty has run out and I'd like to start with the clutch fluid. I noticed it was really dark after having the brake recall done. While it was under warranty I had the shop do the maintenance.

I figure it's pretty straight forward but before I chance it I thought I'd ask. Can I just open the bleeder at the bottom and gravity bleed it - replacing the fluid as needed - or is there more to it? I've done the brakes this way in the car so I assume it would work with the clutch on the bike.

BTW: My bike is and 08 GSX-R 1000

Thanks for the info

I've done it on my Tuono a few times. The way I was taught, it's like doing the brakes, except you have to close the bleed valve just before the lever hits the bar.
