Hey everybody, I recently got a '03 F4i. The chain needs a little tightening, at least according to an aquaintance and I agree, but I'm not sure how. I haven't read the manual yet due to lack of time, so if you know it's in there for a fact, just let me know. Otherwise, I'd appreciate the help so I could do it this weekend. Thanks

loosen the both nuts on each side of the rear tire which you probably have to remove the cotter pin.. slide the tire as far back as you need (theres indention marks on each side of the swingarm) & match them up on both sides & then tighten up the two bolts on each side of the tire & pooff...

on this you got to look @ your manual cuz it will tell you how many inches of slack you should have on your chain when moving up & down on the chain.. you cant just push the tire all the way back you need alil slack on the chain & your manual will tell you how much to be exact.. easy to do
