So about 2 months ago I took the tank off the bike and poured seafoam down the air inlets for the 4 carbs, then I took a half a can and poured it into the gas tank. The bike ran a little rough at first while it ran all of the seafoam through the intake side of the system, but then the roughness went away and it ran better than before.

I want/need to sync my carbs now and my friend with a CBR 900 tells me I need to take the carbs off and take them in to get cleaned before I sync them. But since I used Seafoam to clean all the parts where gas and air meet, shouldn't they already be clean?

Insight would be needed here please...
