Friend of mine emailed this picture. It's for sale near him but there's no details on the sign.

Other then the fairing supports on teh front, and the difference in headlights, it looks like it could have been an 05 ZZR. But I defer to you guys for your expertise, as I am new to sportbikes.

Is this an older (2000-2002) zx6r or maybe an '05 zzr?

Where is the pic? '00-'02 ZX6r and the '05-'06 ZZR600, are the exact same bike. No difference in looks. No difference in the headlights. Post the pic again, so we can see it.

The magnesium case covers look like an 05 ZZR, along with the 6 piston front calipers. But the wheels on an '05 were all silver not silver and black.

Fallclassic is right. Just looked up a pic of an '02 ZX6-r, which has the upper support bars for the fairing. On the green bike, they're black, but same difference.

That is a 95-99 ZX-6R, the previous ZZR looked like the old ZX6's. I had a 95 ZX-6R before my ZZR. Look up 2004 ZZR in a search engine and compare. The ZZR looked way different than the current ZZR which is the last model Ninja. I also had a 2001 ZX-6R in 2000-2001. Judging by the tail section I would say more like a 98 or 99. They had nearly identical tail section as the 00-02 Ninjas and our current ZZR.
