Here you go. I just noticed this:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 9.54 MB (whichever is smaller)

9.54MB is frickin' huge for an avatar. I don't even know if I could make a 150x150 image that large unless it had a DPI of 1200 or more.
