Alright guys, I need help finding some pissed off music. Things like Disturbed Down with the sickness, system of a down, etc. Any recomendations. Thanks for the help

Its not a Band

but i think the Queen of the Damned soundtrack is one of the best CDs ever and its kinda like the music you are looking for...sorry if this is not what you were asking =)

Slipknot is getting a little better. As they start to make more money they're able to aford better writers. Their first few albums were nothing but screaming garabage. Virgin Records really nailed it with this comment...

Angry songs????ever heard Hatebreed...definately some pissed off tunes. or a song called die mother f****r Die ,,,by a band called dope.....only a few i like by them ,,but this one kicks asss....there is lots.....death ....napalm death....obituary.....deicide....six feet under.....man many many angry bands out there........old kreator......just to name a few for ya

Bands like Slipknot, Hatebreed, Pantera etc create music for the masses by appealing to the lowest common denominator. "Fuck off mothafucka I'll kick your ass don't ever judge me..."...Total lyrical garbage, and the music is no better (glossy production, boring riffs (if you can call them that) which fail to captivate, lack of contrast in the song structures, you name it). The music is designed to be sold to angsty teenagers. Why it is being absorbed by anyone outside of that demographic is beyond me.
On the other side of the spectrum, lets take the aforementioned Iced Earth. Their second album is a concept album (a story album) based around someone betrayed by christianity. The person takes up arms, murders everything in sight, destroys civilization as we know it, and then realises he himself is the anti-christ, ending the album with visions of walking through the
proverbial underworld with Mephisto himself. Guitar riffs everywhere, off the wall vocals like a man possessed, killer time changes...Even if you didn't read the lyrics the music holds it's own and then some. That is art.

Art = People don't listen to it. Not always but for the best part. To whoever said the first slipknot albums sucked, well FUCK YOU! Alright sorry just had to get that off my chest. Just to name a band no one else has, i've gotta say OTEP. I just bought their 2002 album last week. I'm sorry I waited this long to get it. I've known some of their stuff for quite awhile but just never went out and got the album. But Otep is their vocalist. She is a SHE, and has some of the most wicked growls ever. But the whole album is very poetic to say the least and very metal at the same time. Great CD in my opinion. Blood Pigs is probably the most popular song on the album.

Ill Nino songs- I am loco, no murder, rip out your eyes, just a few angry songs.

This is the kind of stuff that I want to listen to for just a little while. In reality I dont like pissed off music. But sometimes when a day just seems to suck I want to listen to some pissed off people screaming and bitching. I dont really need a whole story line. At least not in this genre of music. But you make some good points.

Coal Chamber is another good band.

As for concept, or "art" albums, NIN's "The Downward Spiral" is a good example. For that matter, Marilyn Manson's albums usually have a theme and tell an overall story.

slipknots duality album is good, killswitch engage is excellent, rage, system, some tool should do the trick as well.

You can't slap "growled" vocals onto distorted guitars with effects loops and call it metal. Metal is a classical/blues based genre based on guitar riffs.
