I had a friend who had a Yamaha Radian which had the California emissions canister; we removed it and then his gas tank would start this "whistling" when the bike was parked out in the hot sun for about 15 to 20 minutes. Anyways, I have a '94 Suzuki RF900 which I did exactly the same thing and removed the emissions gear and it too starts to "whistle" after a few minutes. Is there anyway to stop this or will I have to get the fuel tank from a 49 state bike???
