I got a 2002 R6 about a month ago. I replaced the stator and rectifier last week as they were bad, and found out the neutral switch went bad after that. The bike would crank, but there was no spark. I grounded the neutral sensor, and it started up. Stalled once, but started right back up. Went to take it out, and once I put it in gear the bike shut off. Now it won't crank. Few things to note:

1. The neutral light will blink in time with the blinkers if the Killswitch is off and the clutch is pulled in.
2. The bike will still crank if I short the starter relay, but won't start.
3. I've checked all fuses, as well as connections that I know of.
4. I tried bypassing the kickstand switch with a screwdriver at the connector, which didn't work

It turns out that the starter circuit cutoff relay was the issue. One of the diodes had fried, so the bike wouldn't start. My guess is the line with the arrow went bad, causing the diode to go for some reason. I say this because on the first attempt to fix it, I did not address that line, and two more diodes blew. That line was fixed with the yellow wire.
