HEY GUYS ,Y 02 R1 BLUE was stolen outside my condo .. Didn't have full coverage now it bit me in the ass :bitchslap
WAS STOLEN TUE. AUG 25TH between 11pm-5am
if anyone in Michigan Area statewide see this bike Call police ASAP as it is stolen no matter what call 911 and report a stolen bike alert .. I'd really appreciate it as im out some decent cash and would like to see if i can recover it before i get another one next spring ..
it had a Hindle Hi-mount shorty can , supposed to be Gold powdercoated wheels .lol some sponser decals but the wheels stick out like a sort thumb so if anyone happens to see it you know what to do ..also has projectors fitted into headlights with angel eyes and audi leds across the headlight incase u see it at night ..
PS! $$$$1,000 cash reward to whomever finds it and returned to me being it hasn't been parted out ..

+1 I bet it gets parted pretty quick though. It is quite unique. Watch craigslist and ebay for parts you would notice.

That Hindle can should be a dead giveaway once you see one of those on craigslist in yoru area.

Edit: In fact if I were you I would post on craigslist saying "Want to buy R1 parts"

Thanks guys , i really appreciate it ..
I've come to terms with the fact im not getting it back .. I took all kinds of security measures , chains, steel cable , front and rear disk locks one which had a alarm like the Xena disk lock . also a jap alarm that was so sensative the wind blowing wrong way would tr***** it .. That night i did the projector mod on the headlights and did the audi Led's but never got to show them off ..
I think im going to try and find a 98-99 used R6 and use it as bait to see if they come back for that one also ..lol i know i know but man im reaLLY EFFIN bitter at the moment and the cops could care less they just sittin around waiting for the Vin # to hit their comps other then that aint no one looking for it except me lol ..
I even went as far as buying a boost mobile for for $30 and DL a tracking application into it , but last month Verizon messed up my bill and charged me $700 so i told them goto hell till they figured out why they messed up .. In that time i used to the Boost phone for personal/bussniess reasons ended up losing it .If only i had remembered to buy another one we would be having a differnt thread at this moment ..
But , i truly believe if i put another bike out there they will think i got comp'd from Insurance and if i leave it out in the open they will come and try to get this one too .. I know some of you might think im wacko for thinking this but this is America and we do have some Dumbass criminals .. only problem is i can't find one for under couple grand and really afraid to take the chance picking up another R1 and put it through the ordeal .. I'm figuring if the bike is nice enough they will come for it ..My other problem could turn out to be that a differnt thief will come for the new one but if its somone that been looking at my bike then its somone whos prancing around here lurking .. Not sure yet what i will do exactly but at the time being the only thing i can think of is buy 2-3 those gps phones plant them all over the Lure bike and wait for them to take it and see where they drop it off .. It's a long shot but i believe in my soul that they will come for it and thats the only chance i have to getting the first stolen one if its still in one peice ...
All ideas welcome .. oh Criticizm also becuase at this point i have nothing to lose & words can hurt me either ..

The wheels were supposed to be a GOLD Metallic Powder coat they came out a more creamy looking gold then metallic but it grew on me so i kept them was gonna upgrade to some marchesini wheels but those at the time were good enough for me .. thanks all , Ride Safe , and GOD BLESS

Post on craigslist that your looking for R1 parts... If you want to find them and put them in jail take action to find them and then get the police involved.

allready posted a stolen bike add on there with reward . so if i post a looking for parts add im thinking its gonna look kinda fishy if they actually looking on CL

I agree with the checking craig's list thing.

Go to Search Tempest - Craigslist Helper & More! and put a search within 100 miles of your zip code, should bring back towns like Detroit, Toledo, Jackson, Lansing, and Ann Arbor. If you spot that can, tell the guy you'll meet him to buy it...and bring the cops with you.

thanks for that search man really appreciate it ... BTW i had taken off the hindle sticker .. so now im guessing they will just post it as carbon fiber can ... but yea i'd recognize that can anywhere because i made it like that ..
