For all of you who have there bikes just registered and paid sales tax! :mad:

Uncle Sam got me today! It cost me $950.77 smackers to registered my bike including sales tax! :cry

Nope. Omaha, in Nebraska is known for high sales tax on vehicles + we have what they called wheel tax.

In WI, if you buy, or say you bought, from a family member who has already paid sales tax you dont have to pay it again :leghump
Cost me like $50 total to register my bike :headbang

Here in Omaha, it doesn't matter if it's a gift or not, they based it on a market value if it's a second hand, but mine is brand new, so the value is all over in the paper work.

I guess, it doesn't matter how much you pay, if you want it, you have to chew it.

+1 that's what I did with both of mine when I lived in Milwaukee

I use to live in Watertown, WI, and I know how cheap to have your vehicle registered there.

I was actually thinking of getting a personalized plates, but after knowing how much I have to pay, never mind. :mad:
