I'm looking for earbuds that reduce windnoise to listen to music, I've search the forum and really like those two, wondering which one is better...
Shure SE110K or Etymotic ER-6i.

I use cheap Skullcandy Ink'd. Work really well and act as sound insulators to protect against wind noise. I never have to have my iPod above 50% volume with them in. $15-$20 ain't bad for that.

I also use these and have been VERY happy with them. Best $10 I'v spent.

I've been using a set for 3 years (about 36k miles) and they work for me. I haven't used the Shure's so I can't comment.

FWIW - On another forum I frequent one of the guys is a headset guru, which I thought was rather odd but he actually does know his stuff. After a lot of discussion the ER-6i's have bubbled to the top of the list for motorcycle use.

In my opinion, I'd rather wear these $10/pair than spend $150 for the high end stuff that OP is asking about.

I have the er6-i's as well. I paid over 100 for them, but you can find them online for around 80. Worth every penny. Great sound and outside noise reduction.

Well I just bought the er-6i on Amazon for around 75$, can't wait to try them, hopefully they are as good as what they say Maybe I should've went with the skullcandy, they looked pretty good, but I like buying stuff on sale lol.

I picked up some at lowes that are made by AOSafety. They are basically their standard rubber ear plug with a hole down the center and an earphone attached. They are awesome. Block all the wind noise, but still let in just enough ambient noise to know when cars are around you and hear your motor, as well as hear your music clearly without having to crank the volume.

Pretty sure they are labeled as "blockade" or something like that. I liked em so much that when they went on sale a while back I bought 2 extra sets just in case I wear out the originals. Surprisingly though the original set have lasted me almost 2 years now, which is very unusual for me.

Etymotics are generally reviewed by audiophiles as some of the best in-the-ear buds to reproduce stereophonic music without inline power amplification.

Etymotics also produces earbuds that work in conjuction with power amplification for fuller bass, but if you're getting that serious about portable audio you're probably also looking into $500-1000 over and around the ear headphones that work with power amplifiers and will blow your ass away.

Another vote for the 20$ Skullcandy. Work well under the bucket and have good sound.

senheisser c300's very low profile so the helmet won't affect it much when putting on and taking off, plus the sound is awesome. price is much better than the etymotics.

If you want custom ear buds, Look at the Challenger Customs. That is what all the NASCAR, F1, and road racing drivers use under their helmets. . . and i'm a dealer :banana:banana:banana
