I've found some really nice gloves by a company called Belstaff for a very good price, I had never heard of the company before but from what I've read it WAS an English company and they made top quality stuff for ages. But now they have been sold out to an Italian company and from what I've read the sizing on them is all screwed up, some say they don't even know if it's British sizing or Italian. The retailer said go a size larger but I'm not too sure about that. I wear a size Large in Teknic gloves and they fit pretty good and leave a bit of breathing room, so if these gloves are a bit smaller then they should end up fitting perfectly.

Basically to cut to the chase, do any of you guys/gals have experience with Belstaff goods?

Pics?

Belstaff used to make waxed cotton riding gear as well as leather offerings but I thought they had gone the fashion route (since yuo can now find them at Saks 5th Avenue and other high end retailers.

Yeah I was reading up on them and found out they started back in 1924, and thier Trialmaster waxed cotton jacket is a legend in the adventure rider world and sell for nearly $800 for an original English made jacket. They have gone the fashion route ever since switching to the Italian company but they still make some gear (all made in Italy now). These gloves are riding gloves though, I ordered them and when they come in I'll let you know the details.

Hey guys, I got them in and they fit great and have some SERIOUSLY good craftsmanship going on and the smell of the leather screams the same thing. These gloves however are older ones that were made in England (Staffordshire to be exact) so they probably aren't available anymore. They were new old stock. There are still some for sale on ebay by Roseburg cycles, along with several other styles, mine were $15+shipping.

So anyways, that's my story haha
