OK guys its been asked many times before. I know you guys have seen me on awhile and i've been saving for a bike. My grandpa is now giving me money for college, but I have a full ride with the Army so I can spend it on whatevr I want he said. Its going to be about 10,000 I think, which is awesome. Anyways, im heading to University of Oklahoma in August as a freshmen. I want to get a ex500 then invest the rest. A few summes later maybe move up to a 600. Anyways, wanna buy it around here and take my MSF class here, then head up to dorm life. Now, the thing is, I have no idea what I would do with a bike at the dorms. Which is why I need opinions. Should I wait till I get my own place? Here are my options so far:
1. Park the bike at the top of my parking space then I have a small car and park the car next to it. Chain the bike to...something. Just dont want drunk kids messing w/ my bike or something.
2. I have a few friends that are going to buy a house and are juniors. I could maybe keep it there, but I would have to drive/walk to just get to my bike.
3. There is a chance I could ask the Col. up there if I could keep it in the ROTC building since its HUGE and has a bunch of free space. That would be fairly ideal since its locked but dunno if it will work.
So there is my dilemma guys. I know there was a thread about this awhile back but again just wanted to hear what ppl did.
