3 harley cops out there over the weekend speed trappin it. I do not advocate excessive speeding, especially in that area with all the tourists and low speed limits. But I was going the speed LIMIT, 25 mph in the cage and the cop put the gun on me with a grin on his face. 
I was out there the week before (what can I say, its a nice spot and 10 degrees cooler than red rock) and there was an SUV speed trap on the way in. I was at the cathedral rock trailhead and said hi to another officer in an SUV who pulled up. He was waiting for me down the road and followed me for a couple miles. Digital speedo ANCHORED on 25 and he just paced me the whole way.
I'm so glad the little mountain town gets 3 officers dedicated to busting tourist doing 30 in a 25 while I've got guys flying by me doing 65-70 on virtually any major street on the westside. (Flamingo, rainbow, trop, etc....) Can't blame the bike cops though, I'd much rather be up there in the shade and the cool weather than baking in the valley.
