Hey Gang! Just wanted to drop in and express my enthusiasm to be coming back into the fold again. I bought a silver 2004 two years ago when the bike first came out and loved it. That is, until a Dodge Intrepid decided he wanted to be in my lane worse than I did and the bike was totalled. I frequented this forum often maily as a lurker but learned a lot from you guys.

Anyway, two years later I'm finally ready physically and mentally to start riding again and after looking at all the sweet new rides out there, ended up right back where I started with the FZ6. A 2005 model this time, Silver of course but now the wheels are black so thats a bonus. :D I pick up the bike this week!

I ended up paying a bit more than I expected since I couldn't find many 2005's left in my area (Indiana)...so 6195, but I really liked the Silver over the newer red or blue bikes with the black frame.

Man that must been a nasty cage encounter. Glad to hear you've bounced back. $6200 is not bad at all. Congrats!
Didn't mean to mislead anyone..its more the mental part that kept me away this long. You know, the whole hesitation to get on a bike again, but the urge won me over...I miss it so much every time I see a motorcycle wiz by me on the street. The physical recovery wasn't too bad as I was 95% back to normal within a couple of months. Soft tissue damage can really suck when its in the wrong places...
