How do I replace the back light bulbs in the gauges on a '92 gsxr 750? I have tried to twist the socket out of the speedometer and the tach, they are solid. If I need to open the gauges up, does anyone know the simpliest method or how to do this?

It was tight, but they did pull out. Thanks. :cheers The local dealer said I had to completely disassemble the gauges in order to get to the light sockets. I guess I will not be going back to them for service or advice.

Plus, they were going to charge me $135.00 to replace the bulbs + cost of the bulbs. RIPOFF!!! :rolleyes

Yeah I have a fondness for that model gsxr (I own a 89 750 and 2 92 1100's) so I know the ins of them...........unfortunately
