Lifted the tank recently to install battery harness for heated gear. Just cleaner her up and noticed these two hoses with plugs on one end. Are they supposed to be hanging loose like this with terminators hanging out, or are there two more hoses missing a plug?

Left side of the bike, just about shifting linkage:

Thanks!

Someone who has been through the process should confirm this, but I believe those are the access lines to allow you to do the throttle body synchronization. Should be another pair on the opposite side of the bike for the other two.

Couple others responded on another forum saying same. Thanks! (Also recommended I check 2 drain hoses, which I had left kinked!)

Always reach under the bike bike and pull those hoses down, anytime you raise the tank.

The kinked vents would make the tank implode on itself.
That has happened to some Ducatis, but, not from kinked overflow lines. The Carbon canister clogging up has been known to do it. Luckily the FZ6 does not have this, except for California bikes.
