....not only should the stripes be a blur, pay attention the the speedo and the bike in front of him as he takes off. Hes not very far from his buddy, he just barely starts rolling toward him and the speedo is instantly showing 25mph! Something was doctored.

I just watched the video again and if it was real, the guy riding must have had his butt welded to the seat! Seems to me that the way that speedo pegged out, theres no way you could stay on the bike!

It's doctored. Just watch the speedo. Also, I did an indicated 170 on my ZX-9 and the lines were coming by faster than that. I'm sure someone will come along with a stopwatch and time the rate the lines are moving and distance to come up with something like 140-150.

Also, for the last 1,000 RPMS the speedo does not move stays pegged at 220, now it may have hit a small pin, however, I would say the speedo has been doctored for sure.

Yeah there’s a lot of controversy surrounding this vid... Although the dude is on a Hayabusa, one of the fastest bikes in production. To be able to pull a wheelie from 50Mph and hold it through 140Mph, then drop and effortlessly power to 220Mph burying the speedo sounds a little unbelievable to me too.. Although topped out 11k RPM in 6th on a Busa has got to be movin... :2eek
My understanding on this video is that the Busa is turbocharged with one the the kits currently available for the bike. With the turbo installed on a Hayabusa and running only around 10psi of boost, the bike will produce over 300HP. :leghump Just another note on this, With this kit installed the bike is capable of 575HP, no bullshit. See for yourself. http://www.totalkaosperformance.com/stage1busrac

That is some crazy power isn't it! A bike that weighs under 500 pounds and produces 575HP!!! You would have to have a very controlled throttle hand to keep from getting killed on that ride.
