i was thinking of getting XM radio and i was wondering if anyone has it. i like a wide variety of music, but i would say i listen to rap/hip-hop the most. however, i am not into hearing about how much Bling G-Unit has. i have been listening to the samples on the site and it seems pretty good. my kinda music. and it is only $9.99 a month and my head unit in the car is XM ready. so it shouldn't cost much. $9.99 is less than buying one CD a month. if you do have it, what are the negatives?

other then the monthly fee, i love it........but we drive ALOT, 23k so far this year. and on long road trips, it's even better. just got back from a 12hr drive. 24hrs in 4 days.......

it blanks out a little in town, but out of town it's great.

if you get it, get the smallest antenna you can find, no need to tell other's about it. we mounted the antenna on the dash board on the 2nd car.. about 90% reception vs 98% on car 1 , w/ the old skool trunk mount antenna.

I also have Sirius. I really like it. I voted for it against XM even though my deck is XM ready, because Sirius seemed to have more stuff that I was looking for.

I also have the small problems of it blanking out in town every now and then...but not very often.

we have a xm ski fi boom box in our bedroom and love it, it always has something to listen to and always clear. Thinking of getting the roady 2 for my bike.
