Well, since it seems that MotoGP has been keeping us clueless as to what the hell is going on with the game. Has anyone played Tourist Trophy? I bought this game because I had been doing some reading on it and turns out... it's pretty nice. The graphics in this game are AWSOME!!! Bikes look like you can actually ride it in real life. Even when the player is riding and going through gears you see his left leg up shifting and down shifting. And that's on PS2. Unlike MotoGP where all the tracks are basically flat, this game has elevation changes for your ass. Even has that scary drop at Leguna and it looks just as intimidating when you're playing. Like in real life, at high speeds you get front wheel whobble and you can even feel it through the controller :phatyo . I know many of you guys out there are die hard GP guys but this is a must if you like Sim bike racing games. My only dislike of the game is that you can't race an ALL OUT 16 or more field. Because the graphics are so good the most bike racing at once is 4. Definitely a must buy :cheers

Here are some pics... In the last two you can see my son pulling a wheelie and what happens when you bring it up to high :bitchslap . That was the start of a tumbling wreck. And yes... THAT IS A YAMAHA :banana

Where'd you pick it up, Rob?..And how much?

Maybe on Sunday, we could talk Hoots into giving up a big screen for another round of video battle between the boys (and girls of course)...

If I did win it (won't b/c it'd be like hitting the lotto) I'd sell it :pisson

Jon, I got mine from GameSpot. Only $39. This is the place to go. Buy a game from them and if you don't like it bring it back up to 7days of purchase for a full refund. Up to 90 days the game cliches, bring it back and exchange it.

If they made the mofo for xbox then Id have it. Guess its only for PS. Iv seen the commercials for it and it does look nice. THey had a "game zone" over at the StPete races the other weekend and had a big ole trailor setup to play this game. Unfotunately I didnt see this until we were leaving. DOH

Okay... this game is blowing me away! If anyone likes Sim racing games and hasn't gotten it, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSING! This game blows MotoGP out of the water :phatyo . I was running Leguna and couldn't get my times down. Was having problems with the famous down hill hair pin trying to keep the bike steady. Went to the bike setup... changed my rebound, damping, and a couple more things on my suspension and the R1 rode like a completey different bike. Knocked 2 seconds off my lap time. Also in race mode after the tires get worn the bikes begins to ride alil more unsteady thus making you have to be more cautious on your braking. This is without a doubt the best game out :phatyo

BTW use the ingame photo mode, it looks like you're taking pics of your TV. It has incredible photo editing features and you can save your screen shots of any replay to a USB memory stick (sold seperately) connected to the front of your PS2.
Here's me:

YES IT IS THAT GOOD

I picked it up last night and got to play it for an hour or two.

Its more technical than I expected which should end up giving some worthwhile depth as far as becoming a smooth sim rider.

definitely enjoyable. some of the bikes included/excluded make me want to shake my head though.

I was REALLY surprised they left off the Honda 600Fs and Ninja 250/500 but it has a heavy asian influence and they tried to keep the newer models current.

Yeah I also feel like they could have done away with those slow assed scooters and put more sportbikes in. But gameplay definitely makes up for that! I haven't been running ANYTHING other than the Anniversary model Race bike R1. Complete different handling than the Street bike. I've already won all the big 4 race bikes. That Honda handles better than any of those in tite stuff. But I love Yamaha.

Anyone got any times on tracks? Here are 2 of mine...

Valencia = 1:41.??
Leguna = 1:30.83

I played it for a while last night.

My first impression isn't bad, but I don't think I will throw MotoGP under the bus just yet.

First the handling:
Doesn't quite have the true nature down.
Game Bike;
Letting off the gas, the bike seems to push out.
Dragging the back brake in the turn does not turn the bike in.
Grabbing the front brake at apex turns bike in.
Real Bike;
Just the oppisite of all the above.

The turn in is outstanding.
I actually played better when in cockpit and open mode than i did from behind the bike. just because of the turn in.
I love the fact that they brought over the GT tracks too.

This game will definitely hold you over while waiting for motogp 4. They scored big with this one, thanks to them dragging their feet.
I can't wait to get home and put in some time...

Thanks Rob for letting know about this.....:)

Ummm... I DON'T AGREE! The only time I have issues with the bike pushing out is when I'm on the brakes and the front end is about to wash out. In terms of Realism... MotoGP3 is NOTHING like this game in terms of the way a real bike handles. I'm a big MotoGP fan and hope that the gameplay on it is just as good if not better. One thing that I do notice about the braking. If I brake hard in turns my steering becomes unstable and I get front end whobble (sp). If I brake hard and let off the brakes before entering the turn my cornering is alot more smooth.
