This would suit the UK/EU owners more then the US ones, it's a simpler board than the one currently on offer from bubmrtn with no integrated turn signals.

The idea is that a UK bike will pass an MoT test with one fitted, but still have a much brighter rear light than an aftermarket LED bulb. They use red LEDs so will work with either red, clear or smoke/iridium lenses. (They look orange in the pics, but they are red in reality.)

Also unlike LED bulbs, I have kept the tail and brake lights apart, each having their own circuit. This means I can use different types of LEDs for each part, resulting in a MUCH b***** difference between the tail and brake light brightness when compared to any LED bulbs I've seen.

These boards are similar in brightness to regular filament bulbs, slightly brighter if anything, but will last a whole lot longer with normal use and use less power drawing under 500mA.

The price is £27 inc. UK postage. They will be on e-bay occasionally, but they will be priced at £35 on there, so it's better for you to buy them through this site.

Fitting is easy, a small amount of silicon sealant or similar will hold them in place, and three crimps (which come with the board) need to be fixed to the bike's tail light wires. Fitting instructions will be e-mailed to you, but it really is easy to do.

I'll get some pictures of it on a bike as soon as I can. The back ground gets progressively darker as the camera has to compensate for the brightness of the LEDs, giving some idea of how bright they actually are.

Hi! This is my first post but I had been reading your posts for a months. One question: is this back light homologated by the EC?

Thanks for your answers and take some beer for me. I pay!

Hi, no the board is not homologated, but the Yamaha rear light casing is, so once ithe board is inside no one will know any different unless they take it apart.

These lights now meet the relevent EC directive.

Still haven't sold any through here though. And the pictures have vanished:(

Nooj,
I may be interested in a board with the red LED's if they are compatable with the US version? I've been trying to find an LED replacement for the tail light, but I still want to keep the red lens cover cause it really matches the red scheme of my bike. Can you reload your pictures?

Turn Signal Mirrors 2005 FZ6

I wanted to get some turn signal mirrors in chrome and searched forever to find some and every time I would find some it said they would not fit my 2005 FZ6. When I would examine the pics they looked like they would fit and eventually bought a pair and when I got them even though they looked like they would fit they absolutely would not. Not even close but I used the base of the old mirrors and modified it drastically and got them to work. They are fully adjustable and are about a foot lower than the stock mirrors giving it an even cooler low profile look with the same visibility as the stock mirrors. here are some pics check it out.
