Yep. I lowsided Clay's bike.

I wouldn't have been on it if I didn't have a mechanical with my bike - my exhaust broke a clamp bolt and abolutely cooked my powercommander and underseat tray.

That's already a $250 kick in the nuts.

But, no, I need to make it WORSE for myself, so I take Clay's bike into HWSB.

Well, Clay's bike launches like a rocket. I took the holeshot, I think pretty cleanly.

I took the Yucca turn for two laps just fine.

The third one, I was trying to hold a tighter line on the 1200 Michelin slick, and the thing simply let go - full lock in an instant. I tried to pick the bike back up, but then it was all Earth-Sky-Dirt-Dust.

I don't think the damage will be bad, but Mikey says he'll pull it apart and for me to have my credit card handy... :phatyo

OK, have at me, bitches.

Thanks, Clay.

First for the loan of the bike, though I think I can kiss HWSB championships goodbye, at least for this year.

And second for taking the cake. No, I mean it... really.
