Been wondering what all will match up and what will work with just a bit of work. It would be great if we could get a sticky that would list what parts and how hard it would be to get them to work. I have seen a lot of things for the other bikes that should pretty much work with ours some with a lil bit of modding so why not have a sticky so that we can keep all the ideas in one place?

Apparently FZ1 front fenders can be used with a little modding, they look nice too. And the FZ1 chain guard fits the FZ6. FZ1 fork caps work and allow for some preload adjustment (on the cheap compared to R6 swap).

well the fz1 caps may fit but the preload will not work..i looked in to it
but if its just for looks ...then sure....
this could be a neat thread but it cant be hear say it needs to be
proven...

well AlanSRT4 sounds like you just volunteered yourself to scour through the existing posts to find the threads that discuss the various interchangable parts, and start creating a list by modifying your orginal post with links to the detailed posts on what was done to make them fit. I will then add it to the sticky'd 'FZ6 Threads worth linking', if it becomes...well...worth linking.

Again if I sticky'd everything you guy's wanted sticky'd, then we would be scrolling through 10 pages of stickies before we get to the new posts.
