Yeah Jooker your right, but even at Solid it wasn't really about the ride it was about meeting up. Back then guys would just pull out and we would just follow and try to keep up with the crowd. We were just happy to have a big group of bikes all N one spot.

If you want it to be about the ride, then plan rides. Wednesdays are cool to me just watch out for yourself. If you don't want to ride with all the crazies, don't. It doesn't mean you have to avoid BFS all together.
