I'm sure we're all very well aware (or should be) that these guys are coming back with money and buying toys that are getting them killed. The video did not educate, it did nothing more than push dirt bikes over street bikes with a few bits of "if you get a street bike don't ______"You guys are missing the point of the video.
It is propaganda for U.S. Marines, who deploy/come home/redeploy quite frequently with large sums of money. The Marines as an organization is currently facing the dilemma of vets coming home from a stressful and possibly psychologically/physiologically altering experience, then buying supersports as a first bike. These guys that buy the bikes when they come home, they aren't looking to feel the freedom of the open road. They're looking to feel a sense of extreme danger and exhilaration/adrenaline.
Now put two and two together. The purpose of the video is to talk 19yr old combat vets out of buying a gsx-r 1k as a first bike, using some discipline to figure out how to operate it for a week in the parking lot, then going absolutely full bore out of the parking lot and into the streets looking for a rush.

Aimed towards non-riders or soon to be riders. It just touches a nerve with me, a street/track rider.propaganda
